Dear Ladies and Gentlemen:

I am writing to you on the behalf of the United Goodyear Firefighters Charities and Goodyear Police Officers Association Charity Foundation, both non-profit organization which supports numerous charitable organizations in the West Valley. We are asking for your support with a donation of sponsorships and raffle items for our upcoming golf tournament to assist us in this worthy effort. We are holding our 5th Annual Goodyear Guns and Hoses 1st Alarm Golf tournament to raise funds to distribute to organizations that fill vital needs in our community. All monetary donations go 100% towards our charitable goals. The United Goodyear Firefighters Charities and the Goodyear Police Officers Association Charity Foundation have united to host this year’s golf tournament and have selected one local, state and national charitable organization that they will contribute to and assist with their goals in making a difference in someone’s life. The main charitable organizations are Homeless Youth program, Phoenix Children’s Hospital (locally), Az Burn Camp (state) and (MDA) Muscular Dystrophy Association (nationally).

  • The Homeless Youth is program consists of kids that are homeless and attend Jr. High School and high school in the city of Goodyear.
  • The Az Burn Camp is a nonprofit organization that provides summer camps for kids that are victims of burn injuries. Each year the UGFFC sponsors a burn victim to attend burn camp and helps them become burn survivors through financial and emotional support.
  • The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) is a voluntary health agency, and a dedicated partnership between scientists and concerned citizens, aimed at conquering neuromuscular diseases that affect more than a million Americans.
  • Phoenix Children’s Hospital (PCH) is in the process building the PCH Southwest Valley Specialty & Urgent Care Center. The new facility will be PCH’s largest satellite specialty pediatric clinic and urgent care center. This hospital is a nonprofit hospital that relies heavily on the generosity of the community.

Your donation to the United Goodyear Firefighter Charities and the Goodyear Police Officers Association Charity Foundation is tax deductible towards your business. If this is more than a one-time contribution/donation, please feel free to contact us on future donations that may better suit your needs either financially or in your fiscal year budget. Thanking you for your favorable consideration of our request for contributions. We could not succeed without giving business like you.
